I’m constantly looking for news updates throughout the day at work and on the weekends. Typically, I look online because I can get the most up to date information.
Our local newspaper is worthless and by the time I purchase it the news is already 24-48 hours old! Not to mention, they don’t have all of the greatest gossip like Paris Hilton and her jail updates.
We have our main website when we sign in online set to CNN and typically we can get some pretty good news coverage.
Now there’s a new option for online news called The News Room. As a blogger, I can go onto the website and choose news that I might want to put on my website. But the best part about the whole thing is that I can get paid up to $4 per clip!

When you choose to put a video on your website it is called mashing. It’s easy and literally only took me thirty seconds to figure out how to do it!
I also like the fact that the news is fresh and straight off the press! Not to mention easy, free, and I had tons of video choices to pick from.

This weekend I rented the Wii game Shrek Three. It was a pretty enjoyable experience, however, I should have waited til we watched the movie to actually play it! I finished the game yesterday after spending about 10 hours total with it.
Sunday we watched Shrek Three and Graem was good for half of the movie. The other half she talked constantly and had to go to the potty about five times. Towards the end we were ready to beat her and had to carry her out of the theatre screaming.
To say the least — we’re Shrek’d out!

We went to the state park today and had a great time. We hiked all the way up and almost reached the top. We decided to hop in and the water was still a little chilly. I was the only one to go in fully and dip my head. Grammy loved swimming for the first few minutes then she complained that it was too cold.
After a great day at the park and our picnic we decided to go to Cayuga Creamery for ice cream. They always have the best ice cream and today was no exception!
When we got home Graem fell asleep in Margot’s arms and I fried my brain with more bad television.

This weekend we were able to catch up on all of our television shows from before vacation. We watched the following: 24, The Bachelor, The Office, Drive, Lost, and Wife Swap.
To say the least…I feel like my poor head is pretty fried right now and I’m not even sure if I can finish writing this post since my brain has turned into mush.

Well, I’m pretty glad that Monday’s a holiday because I haven’t done a darn thing today except sleep and catch up on “The Bachelor”.
This afternoon we might go check out Shrek 3 or we might go to Buttermilk Falls and for a little swim.
