Well, I just got off of the phone with Time Warner and it looks like we’re going to have another year of “TV promotion”! I hadn’t realized that this whole time we were getting a free showtime promotion. So that will end at the end of the month.
They also tried to sell us on HBO. However, I’m not sure that there’s anything good on HBO so I declined that offer.
I figure I can just call every few months to see if they have any free promotions! Another option is to call on a Friday get SHOtime or HBO to watch a series and then cancel it Monday! Seems a lot cheaper than renting the DVDs at the video store!

Today we did absolutely nothing! We were going to go to Lowe’s and pick up sandpaper, stain, and new knobs for our new piece of furniture that K&C gave us.
However, after Margot went to the grocery store and it was pure ice and dangerous we decided against the trip into “town”.
So we stayed at home and played “Super Mario Galaxy” on the Wii. It’s a great game and because it has so many different galaxies if we get stuck on one we open up another one and can come back later!
We also caught up on some television and a few “Weeds” and “Project Runway” episodes.
It’s sad that we pay so much for television and with the damn writer’s strike we have nothing taped but The Backyardigans and Tom and Jerry!
On the baby front, I did the doppler today and it looks like the kid’s heartrate has dropped (as expected) to around 147 beats per minute! When I did it for a second time today it was around 152bpm.
It’s interesting how it all works. Supposedly between weeks 15 and 16 is slows down a little bit. Last week it was around 165bpm.
Tuesday we have our midwives appointment and Wednesday I go back for the final bloodwork for the nuchal screening test. I should get the results for that back in 7-10 days. This whole thing is really dragging out! I’m sure everything will be fine but I wish I would have done the other testing so that I’d already know that everything was in good shape.

Our living room needs a serious overhaul. Our rug has stains on it from kids and the animals have picked it to death.
Our television is starting to get dim corners and I’m afraid that our home theatre system has bit the dust a few times and keeps coming back to life.
I guess if I’m dreaming I should think of an upstairs family room with discount home theater seating, a sweet new big screen television, and those tiny speakers that sound amazing.

Margot woke up at the butt crack of dawn and Graem decided to wake up with her! Of course, after breakfast at 7:15 Graem is passed out on the couch while watching The Backyardigans.
Her cough is still persistent and I was debating taking her to school today. However, I think I’m going to dose her up and pray that she makes it for a few hours at least.
She seems fine except for when she lays down and tries to sleep.
Plus, the cough medicine seems to do the trick and once I give it to her she stops coughing. She doesn’t have a fever and I wish she’d learn how to spit out her loogies!
She’d feel so much better.

Today I was feeling pretty crappy. Aside from being overly hormonal and just not wanting to talk to anyone I also have a killer sinus headache and my back is killing me.
Thank God I was able to pick up a six pack of Pepsi last week during my $380 grocery trip. I adore Pepsi and I must say that over the years my love for Pepsi has only intensified. It’s sugary substance is like nectar from the gods.
Now what could be better than sitting on the couch in my skivvies, with a cold bottle of Pepsi, watching Maury “Who’s the father…my boyfriend or your husband?”
