A Tale of Two Mamas

Trying to keep someone IN timeout

We love our blog!

And I’m sure our readers love it to.  (Or so we’re told!)

It will be a sad day if/when our website host goes down and loses all of the information that we have stored on the server.   It happened once and we lost about 3 posts.    We were pretty upset with that.   I can’t imagine what would happen if we lost all of the information.

We’ve been posting since the conception of Graem and it’s been a diary of sorts through our parenting adventures.

That’s why I think online backup might not be a bad idea.    IDrive.com is offering some great backup services for FREE up to 2GB and $4.95 for unlimited online storage.

You really can’t go wrong with the free option and if you have a lot of information $4.95 is nothing compared to the heartache of losing important and valuable information.

Our new computer.

We got our new computer yesterday.    It’s still sitting in the box.   It’s such a pain that the original computer they sent us was a piece of crap and we have to get all of our documents and saved information together so we can put it on the new computer.

Why couldn’t Dell make sure that they sent a working computer in the first place?

I noticed that the box said “Made in Malaysia.”

I was wondering…

how they were able to print DVDs so quickly at the Interactive Aquarium in Cancun, Mexico.

When we did the swim with dolphins we just had to have the DVD that showed us kissing the dolphin, teaching the dolphin tricks, and learning about the dolphins biology.

Now I realize that they were probably able to print the DVDs within minutes because they had a high quality CD/DVD Printer.

The Nexis 100AP CD/DVD Printer is one of a kind!   Not only does the CD/DVD printer natural pick technology but it assures the user of a 100% duty cycle!

We need to think ahead.

We currently have all of our financial information, pictures, and documents stored on an external hard drive.    We decided to go this route in case our new computer poops out.    I was just thinking the other day “what if our external hard drive dies?” or “what happens if the house catches on fire?”

All of the great memories that we have with the pictures of our daughter and all of our important financial papers would be gone.

Online storage is becoming more and more attractive.   IBackup.com makes it easy too.   They offer offer online storage for small businesses.   You can actually map the storage to be a drive and use the click and drag tool to save your information.

Protect your most prized posessions!
