I tried to check the boy/girl poll this morning as I was in the doctor’s office and it looked like it might be down. Has anyone been having problems entering in the guessed sex of the baby?

I’m not sure why, but updating the website is always a little scary. It always says, “Backup, backup, backup!” And then when I reload the page, something inevitably goes wrong, and I get a weird php error. But…it seems that things have gone okay–so far.
Upgrading is antithetical to my “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” M.O., but this was all instigated by Shawna’s desire to add a new poll for whether this kid is going to be a boy or a girl. Check it out on the right!

We currently have a hard drive that we’ve been storing all of our pictures and important documents on. Just the other day I almost had a heart attack because I thought I lost an important document and it was literally no where to be found.
I was able to find it on our old laptop hard drive.
However, lesson learned — we’ve really got to look into Online Backup! It just makes sense to keep important pictures and documents on a different server and location than your primary.
You never know what could happen including theft or even fire to your primary location.
