No more useless cards!

I can’t tell you how many useless credit cards we’ve had over the years.   When we were younger we used to sign up for a credit card because they gave us an ugly shirt and a coffee mug.    Little did we realize that they had a 22% APR and an annual fee!

At this point in our lives we’re looking for cards that offer us rewards and give us offers for being good and loyal customers!

I really like the options with Courtesty of Coutts.    They offer a credit card where you can collect points and use them for really useful things such as:

*   ebookings for hotels, car hire, flights and you can even choose from 400 different airline providers!

*   travel on easy jet (292 routes - 74 European airports)

*   donate points to charitable causes

If you’re looking for a card and want one that not only offers you rewards and points - but also allows you to support charity — then the only card for you is Courtesy of Coutts!

Do it with gold.

Just the other day Margot made the comment about how well the gold price was doing.

One of the oldest assets available today is gold.    Gold and Silver retain their value through the years and because they are in such demand you can be guaranteed that they are an amazing investment.
With Monex Deposit Company you can be assured that your money and investments are in good hands.   They have been in the business of selling Gold, Silver, and other fine metals for over thirty years.    They are the industry leader and can guide you to the right product for your investment needs.

The great thing when you buy gold is that you don’t have to worry about the value.   It’s demand is always higher than it’s supply which makes it a wanted commodity.   Not to mention, it’s not something that you can lose with one bad day on Wall Street.

It’s the perfect idea if you’re looking for something to diversify your portfolio with.

Grocery shopping.

It’s been about three months since we’ve been grocery shopping!    We didn’t even have enough food in the freezer, cupboards, or fridge to put together a dinner tonight!

So I decided to go grocery shopping.    We typically go to Wegmans but since I was next to the mall I decided to hit the Tops.    I was able to get some cheap meat and by the time all was said and done the total had come to $384.00!   HOLY SHIT!

That’s a lot of groceries!

Thank God for the little Tops card.    That brought the total down to a whopping $310.00!

So I’m wondering why in the hell do they make people get these cards?    I lost mine years ago and every time I go in the store I always tell them that I don’t have mine with me and the cashier no doubt swipes her own card!

It’s probably the way that the goverment tracks what we eat, how much, and how often.

Gold.

I’m not just referring to your teeth either!   I’m talking about one of the oldest assets available today gold.    Gold and Silver retain their value through the years and because they are in such demand you can be guaranteed that they are an amazing investment.

Our loan.

Well, we’ve been dragging our feet on actually going to the bank to sign our loan.   We figure the longer we can draw this out the longer we can take advantage of the 0% interest that we’re getting from the credit card!    Plus, we won’t have to start making payments.

At some point I know the bank lady is going to tell us to get in or else we could jeopardize losing the loan (which is at a great rate) all together!

When we were looking for loans we made sure to compare loans and really shop around.   There are so many different options when looking to borrow money and it was really a lot easier to get our hands on $20,000 than we thought!

Of course, many of the personal loans that we looked at started at around 7% and went up.    So we knew that was not the route we were going to take.

Since we have great credit we also didn’t have to worry about going the route of secured loans.

One website that helped us look at the different loans and rates was:   http://www.thriftyscot.co.uk.    They offer information on just about everything financial!
