A Tale of Two Mamas

Trying to keep someone IN timeout

Archive for Health

Still laid out.

Well, I do feel a little bit better than yesterday but my back doesn’t seem to be recovering overnight.    Of course, I’m trying to use different muscles these days instead of my lower back muscles.

Which means that my tummy muscles and thigh muscles are in bad shape too!

I was able to call the PT/Chiropractor that specializes in pregnant woman and leave a pretty pathetic message on her machine.    She returned my call and is going to get me in tomorrow at 9:00am.

Now I just have to figure out what I’m going to do with Grammy during that time…

OUCH.

Last night when we were at the bookstore I realized that my back was cramping up a bit.    I could barely sit and figured it was just some pregnancy lower back cramps.

Today as I was putting on my jeans my back seized up and felt like hell.

I’m so bummed because I had plans of taking Graem to her first gymnastics session at Fingerlakes Gymnastics.     I figure we can just take her Saturday.

Now, I’m on the couch and really wanting some kind of relief.    I know I can’t take medication at all and I’m not sure about the heating pad.    I have a call out to my doctor and I’m just waiting for her to get back to me.

I’ve already made an appointment with the Physical Therapist/Chiropractor that specializes in pregnant women.    Of course, she can’t get me in til Tuesday at 12:45pm.

I’m going to pump you up!

I talked with my friend the other day who is undergoing invitro and egg retrieval the other day.    They were able to get fifty eggs and out of those forty fertilized!

The downfall of that is that she’s at great potential to have Ovarian Hyperstimulation.   I told her about some of the things that I had heard and one of them being to get some bodybuilding supplements.    Supposedly, they have supplements that are pure protein and can help with Ovarian hyperstimulation!    It helps to absorb the extra fluid in your body and gives your body the needed electrolytes.

Illpumpyouup.com offers a full variety of supplements at awesome prices!    The website is easy to use and you can find just about anything to pump you up or to make you feel full of energy!

Got colloidal silver?

I bet you are wondering what I’m talking about and at first I would have had no clue!    However, I’ve been reading up on colloidal silver and its use as a potent antibiotic.   From a chemical standpoint it just makes sense that it would work in a positive way without the awful side effects of antibiotics.

When we were in the Phillippines I had a terrible case of dissentary.   I am guessing it was because the water is horribly polluted and as much as I tried to stay away from it I had to have ice cubes!   Plus, I used it when brushing my teeth.

One morning I woke up and had the worst stomach cramps.   Then the diarreah and vomitting started.   Within a few minutes I went from feeling fine to feeling like I was going to die.

Margot ran out to the pharmacy and was able to find Cipro.   I took two tabs and instantly I felt better.   Then I continued to take the medication for the next five days.

The reality though is that I hate taking heavy duty antibiotics because I know at some point my body will become immune to the antibiotics when I really need them.

Colloidal silver is a natural antibiotic and has been known to prevent infections.   I’ll try anything once!

Scared to go to the dentist!

My dentist called just last week to get me in for my cleaning.   Because I’m a cheapo I go for cleanings once a year instead of every 6 months.   Ya gotta cut back somewhere, right?   (However, this is probably not the area to do so!)

I’m afraid that she’s going to say that I need to have a filling or that I have something going on with my teeth.    Of course, being that I’m pregnant I don’t think that I can do anything about it until I deliver the baby.

Right now I have two fillings and they seem to be alright.   However, when they were discovered they were pretty painful and I would have given anything to had my teeth pulled!

If for some reason I need temporary dental repair then I’ve found just the product - Dentemp OS.

You can purchase Dentemp OS over the counter and it helps provide, fast, and temporary relief of pain for your teeth.   It’s easy to use and you don’t have to mix solution.    The best part about it is that it’s pretty inexpensive and you can actually use the product for six different repairs.

I’m glad to know that Dentemp OS is available and that for the next 9 months I won’t have to be in pain if I have something going on with my teeth!
