Well, to say the least we’re all broken!
Graem got sent home from daycare Thursday because she was running a fever. Yesterday I took her to the doctor. They think it’s probably just a virus and said we really shouldn’t worry about the fever because it’s her bodies way of fighting the virus.
Last night she coughed a lot, ran a fever, and even vomited at 3 in the morning.
Margot handled it and I slept.
I went to the chiropractor/physical therapist yesterday and she was pretty helpful. At least I was able to walk out of the office non-crooked!
I was able to get comfortable in bed last night and it’s gotten to the point where I can get in/out of bed better and without pain.
Now, we just have to get better and healed so that we can enjoy the last warm days!

Ever since I’ve had my pacemaker I always wonder how my heart is doing. Especially, when I’m active in sports or other physical activities. I’m guessing that my pacer allows my heart to keep up.
Many people have a cycling heart rate monitor and I saw one a few weeks ago at the local athletic store. I’m not sure how comfortable that would be though. Numetrex.com offers a great heart rate monitor that is in the fashion of a sports bra.
I think that’s an absolutely brilliant idea. Nothing could fit better than a sports bra when it comes ot athletics and you don’t have to worry about all of the extra cords going everywhere and sticking to your body.
For males they offer a cardio shirt which has adapters that will pick up on your heart rate and pulse.
Most recently, I’ve been watching “The Biggest Loser” on television and all of the people trying to lose weight and their trainers are on heart rate and monitors to see the trends in their activity. Also, their monitors allow the trainers to see their activity when they aren’t around!
There are 5 great reasons to wear a monitor:
1. Improve your health
2. Lose weight
3. Make the most of your limited exercise time
4. Exercise safely
5. Be your own coach
If you’re looking for heart rate training - look no further and check out the easiest and most versatile product to hit the market - Numetrex!

Well, I do feel a little bit better than yesterday but my back doesn’t seem to be recovering overnight. Of course, I’m trying to use different muscles these days instead of my lower back muscles.
Which means that my tummy muscles and thigh muscles are in bad shape too!
I was able to call the PT/Chiropractor that specializes in pregnant woman and leave a pretty pathetic message on her machine. She returned my call and is going to get me in tomorrow at 9:00am.
Now I just have to figure out what I’m going to do with Grammy during that time…

Last night when we were at the bookstore I realized that my back was cramping up a bit. I could barely sit and figured it was just some pregnancy lower back cramps.
Today as I was putting on my jeans my back seized up and felt like hell.
I’m so bummed because I had plans of taking Graem to her first gymnastics session at Fingerlakes Gymnastics. I figure we can just take her Saturday.
Now, I’m on the couch and really wanting some kind of relief. I know I can’t take medication at all and I’m not sure about the heating pad. I have a call out to my doctor and I’m just waiting for her to get back to me.
I’ve already made an appointment with the Physical Therapist/Chiropractor that specializes in pregnant women. Of course, she can’t get me in til Tuesday at 12:45pm.

I talked with my friend the other day who is undergoing invitro and egg retrieval the other day. They were able to get fifty eggs and out of those forty fertilized!
The downfall of that is that she’s at great potential to have Ovarian Hyperstimulation. I told her about some of the things that I had heard and one of them being to get some bodybuilding supplements. Supposedly, they have supplements that are pure protein and can help with Ovarian hyperstimulation! It helps to absorb the extra fluid in your body and gives your body the needed electrolytes.
Illpumpyouup.com offers a full variety of supplements at awesome prices! The website is easy to use and you can find just about anything to pump you up or to make you feel full of energy!
