One thing that never loses it’s value is silver! Even when our stocks are floundering you can always look to silver, gold, and precious metals to maintain their value.
Monex Deposit Company offers silver and other precious metals for delivery or they will make arrangements to have your metals stored privately and securely at a bank or depository.
I didn’t realize this but Monex Deposit Company (MDC) is an industry leader. They sell silver in two forms: coin or ingot. We all know what the coins look like, but the ignots are pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. I can only imagine they look like the blocks that are in most cartoons!
The world demand now exceeds the supply demand for silver - which makes it a pretty smart investment.

make money blogging!
I must admit, though, it’s been a while since I’ve received any good offers or felt passionate enough to write about certain topics.
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Zack from ImaginAds.com and he popped me an email about blogging for his company. It’s a start-up company and seems to have some great ideas and business goals. After talking to him on the phone and corresponding via email I was happy to sign up.
Sign up was easy and within minutes I had enrolled our website. The great thing about ImaginAds is that you can set your own price for what you’d like to receive. For example, I set our price at $10 per post. Therefore, any company who wants me to write a post pays a premium to ImaginAds and I get my $10 cut!
The advertiser simply states what they want in the ad and then give information about the product and link information.
Advertisers really like the idea behind targeted audiences too. They can go to the ImaginAds website and see the different blogs that can write for them. Obviously, our blog is geared towards women, mothers, and family. So, a company choosing our blog would more than likely want our demographic in a targeted audience. Advertisers simply log on, then they can put whatever website they want to into their “cart” and check out with the click of a button!
All in all, blogging has been a great way for me to be able to stay home with Grammy, make a little extra money, and it’s also helped us save for our annual vacation fund too!

I look around our living room and see the same furniture we’ve had for years. The same rug that we’ve had since we moved into our house. It has stains and looks pretty yuck.
Then I see our couch that is now serving as my bed! It’s on it’s last leg and every time I lie down I hear a creak of the springs!
When Graem was born we decided to put the coffee tables in the basement to allow for more room.
Now, I’m wondering if we’ll ever see our furniture again and if it’s even worth replacing the ratty rug and couch with two kids running around.

We’re finding that with Margot being on maternity leave this summer we are going to try to pack in all of the fun and travel that we can!
When are we going to have another time where we’re both off for eight weeks with nothing to do and two small kids?
We’ve already booked our trip to Houston and we’ll be leaving June 22nd and coming back June 28th. We’re staying with my parents and trying to figure out what type of fun kid things there are to do in Houston.
When we get back from Houston we’re probably going to make a trip to New York to see Margot’s family. We’re always looking for things to do in New York!
Since we’re in Brooklyn it can take a pretty hefty subway trip or an hour drive plus the price of parking to go into the fun parts of the city.
That’s why I’m all for checking out one of the many sightseeing tours that is offered by Trusted Tours & Attractions!
I think we should have looked here when we were trying to gather Things to do in Las Vegas!
Trusted Tours & Attractions have a great newsletter and right now you can enter to win a $150 iTunes gift card. Offer ends Saturday, May 31st, 2008.

Well, it’s official. We’ve booked our airline tickets to Houston and we’ll be leaving from Syracuse June 22nd. We’ll be in Houston until June 28th.
One thing that we realized is that there’s no way that my mom, dad, Margot, two kids, and me are going to fit in one car! So we’ve started searching for minivan rentals.
Who would have thought that in order to rent a car you’d have to do so much shopping around to find the best deals?!?!
Advantage.com offers a really good website where you can search time, date, and place to pick up the car.
Plus, I love the fact that they are dedicated to going 100% green!
