When I was the Executive Director for an assisted living residence I constantly got calls in the middle of the night with resident issues. Typically, it was that a resident fell, broke their hip and was going to the emergency room.
However, there were times when the nurse, myself, and doctor would be contacted and all of us were trying to figure out a medical solution for a specific situation. Many times I had to look online for the medications that were being given to see if they had any side effects.
Unfortunately, if was out and about I didn’t have access to the information and had to ask one of the aides to look up the information in the PDR.
I’ve just found out about medical PDA software that allows you to view medical information online. You can actually use your PDA to get up-to-date information.
Medication information on the go — life is getting easier!

We know.
I’m not sure I know to many three and a half year old little girls that own their very own MP3 players.
In fact, we purchased Graem an ipod shuffle a few weeks ago. We purchased it for selfish reasons — how much Backyardigans can two parents really take?
The mp3 player has been perfect for long car rides and it’s so cute to hear Graem singing along to her favorite songs.

The one great thing about being pregnant has been that I’ve had little to no acne. Of course, it’s skin tags and stretch marks these days!
A few years back when I went to the dermatologist he prescribed me acne treatment which cost an arm and a leg and I didn’t even use it!
Hopefully, these pregnant hormones will stay with me through the summer and I can stay zit free!

Over the past few months we’ve been hassled by credit card companies to open up new accounts. We’ve worked hard to establish good credit and now everyone wants a piece.
Of course, we also have a feeling that our information is out there and being sold to banks and credit card companies. What’s scary is that we don’t know how much or how little information is being leaked out. There are definite security issues that are being breeched.
That’s why I’m glad that there are companies like lifelock out there that will actually help protect your private information from banks, creditors, and other people who really shouldn’t have access to your private information!

I’ve always loved luxury watches but I can honestly say that I’m not sure they love me!
When I was a kid my grandma let me wear her Cartier watch and I was so scared that I would lose it or break it. I ended up giving it back to her because I didn’t want to get in trouble for an unfortunate mishap!
These days I go pretty bare wristed because I’m constantly sweating also I feel like hands and sausage fingers need can’t have any restrictions!
