I’m doing some office hours today and I’m located at the Collegetown Bagels on East Hill. I’ve been doing really good at keeping away from caffeine. Today I’m drinking a decaf hazelnut coffee. I must be honest though…it isn’t doing the trick.
I miss the energy that my beloved coffee always seemed to give. But more importantly, I miss the smokey and thick taste.
With the decaf I feel like I’m drinking a watered down version of sugar water.

Last night at 4am in the morning I kicked the cat off the bed because she was bothering me. Then I realized that she ended up clawing me and I was bleeding.
Instantly, I sat up in bed and the only thing that ran through my head was I had toxioplasmosis! I got out of bed and turned on the computer only to find all of the horrible things that could happen to my unborn child because of my damn cat and her need to eat rodents.
I figure I’ve probably been exposed to the strain of toxioplasmosis since I’ve changed shit beach (cat box) for years. However, I think I might want to get tested this Friday to see if I’ve had exposure.
In the future I’m going to cover my water so that Murphy can’t stick her hand in and take a drink. Murphy is also losing all independence for the next 7 months and will be an indoor cat.

I decided to walk through Dicks Sporting Good Store on my way to Borders today. We had a gift card and I wanted to see if there was anything that I could use from the store!
So, I was delighted to see that all of their nice or as nice as flip flops get - were on sale!
I picked up two pairs because I figured next summer my fat feet might not fit into much aside from a good ole pair of flipflops and crocs!

Since we found out we’ve been pregnant I’ve been trying to scope out new baby items that our out since Graem’s birth. Much has changed in the cool baby gadget community!
We might have to purchase a new carseat because I borrowed ours out and have no idea what condition it might come back in. So, I’m pretty settled on that.
Right now we have two strollers - a Peg Perego and a Maclaren. Each does a pretty good job - however, I’m not sure our son (if in fact it is a boy!) is going to appreciate Graem’s BRIGHT PINK stroller!
So right now I’m totally looking at the Mutsy. It looks like a hip, New York stroller and seems lightweight and easy to use.
In fact, you can even go to the specified dealers and give the stroller a test drive for yourself!
I figure the next time we’re in the city we’ll look at the fancy baby boutiques in Manhattan and check out this great stroller and others!
My favorite stroller from Mutsy is the urban rider. I love how you can transform it depending on what stage your kid is in and also I love the colors it’s offered in! I must say I’m pretty fond of the college orange or college lime!

Today I was at my Chiropractor (who btw is incredible!) and I heard a tiny baby cry. Instantly, I started crying!
Now, I’m not one to shed a tear - believe me.
However, I just couldn’t help but think…
This is it…
I’m pregnant…
I might actually have a baby.
Now I’m crying again in the middle of Border’s Cafe. Damn.
