There are so many businesses out there that have great websites but because they aren’t connected and don’t have good marketing they are never discovered!
The best way to be discovered on the web is by search engine optimization. Many businesses hire marketing firms to make sure that their businesses get the publicity and exposure on the web.
Since the world wide web has so many different facets and it’s easy to get lost — you’ve got to stand out. There’s no way that one person can figure out how to do this alone!

Getting sales leads and an active Mailing List?
We have a friend, Alex, who is currently working in an Advertising Sales Job. Just the other day he was talking about his lack of sales leads. He started the job a few months ago and was handed a binder full of old leads.

I’m constantly being asked if I have a business card after meeting with people or seeing people that I haven’t seen in a while. Typically, they ask what I’ve been up to and I tell them about my consulting business.
I purchased my business cards years ago and have about 900 of the 1,000 still! Of course, I can’t imagine handing all of them out but I should at least get them out of the closet and put a few in my wallet in case I ever need them.

When I was in college I was constantly being recruited. Of course, I would send out hundreds of resumes online to all of the top corporations in hope that someone would want me!
Many times I would land the first phone interview, get more details, realize it was located in Idaho, or only paid $25,000/year and not be interested.

The recruiters that I worked with were pretty good and actually seemed to have both my interests and the interests of their clients valued equally. They worked on trying to find the perfect fit.
