I finally found some great maternity pants at the local resale shop. They fit so comfy! I’m still working on finding some decent shirts. I picked up some t-shirts but I feel like my boobs poke out too much for them. You know it’s bad when you are talking to someone and they can’t get their eyes of off the girls!!
I’ve been sick on and off. Some days are good - others not so much. Knock on wood….today has been good. I took one zofran before dinner and was able to keep everything down.
We really try to buy healthy and safe toys. At one point we realized that we were buying too much plastic and stuff that had lead paint that was made in China. We’ve really tried to make an effort to buy local and to go with more wood and recycled products.
Graem has a dollhouse and we’ve been trying to replace some of the things that have broken. I found a great place that offers Amish Crafted Wooden Toys and Doll Furniture. Not only are the toys high quality and hand crafted but they also affordable!
Emmy’s birthday is just a week away and I think she’d love to get some of the little figurines.
We in Toronto now with the boys. We got in earlier today and I instantly took a nap while the boys and Margot went to the swimming pool. This evening we went to Old Spaghetti Factory. It was good. The salad, pasta, icecream combo was a hit and the prices were reasonable.
We have no plans for the weekend. I figure I’ll sit on my ass and gestate. Tomorrow we have yet to figure out what we’re doing.
I love a weekend of no plans!
It’s been so stressful the past few weeks. Baby(ies), deck, cleaning house, 2 kids. In the past we’ve ben able to sit back and watch videos are even play a wii game!
The last game we played with Donkey Kong and I got stuck. It’s a two person game and Margot would die instantly within 30 seconds - leaving me to finish the whole level by myself. It’s not just any DK either. It’s super hard!
I’ve had a rough weekend. Margot was trying to finish the deck and I was in charge of kids. I was also trying to get the house and laundry in order so that we can head out Friday. (We’re renting our house for Cornell graduation). I’m starting to think it’s a bigger pain in the ass than it’s worth!
On top of it all…I’ve been really sick. I’ve been nauseaus all day long and then I typically get sick once to twice a day. Every food grosses me out.
With that being said…I’m up about five pounds. UGH. I wish I could ride out this whole thing and drop a few pounds, RIGHT??
Plus…my belly is so big…there’s no question that I’m pregnant.
Looking down - here’s what I see:
I can still see my toes. But then again…I’m only 8 weeks.
