A Tale of Two Mamas

Trying to keep someone IN timeout

Archive for April, 2011

The job.

So I’ve been exhausted lately. Seriously tired. I come home at 5pm and I just want to go to sleep. Of course, I can’t because of the whole kid thing, dinner thing, and finishing up work. The other night I had to get office supply and the last thing I wanted to do was to head back to the store. I thought about shopping on online but had no idea where to look!

2nd beta

I went back yesterday for a second beta. First beta 11dp3dt was 184. Second beta 13dp3dt is 443.

Yep, that’s pregnant. Very. Pregnant.

I scheduled the ultrasound for May 11th! I just hope we see one perfect bean in there!

Beta #1

Today I am 11dp3dt which means 11 days past a 3 day embryo transfer. My beta came back at 184.

Typically, if you’re pregnant with a single baby your number will be 100.

*gulp*

A picture is worth a thousand words…

They’re in.

I got the call Thursday morning that I had three great looking embryos. I was shocked…and so happy. Big Daddy went with me to the appointment. Before the appointment I went for a massage and it was great. I then took my two valium.

THe transfer was flawless. The other doctor performed it and he was GOOD. He did a test run to figure out my anatomy and then they brought in the kids. He inserted the catheter, found the right place, and put them perfectly in.

No blood, no cramping.

Here are the pictures:

One is a perfect 8 cell embryo. The other is a 6-8 cell embryo that is considered good. The last one is a 4-6 cell embryo that would be considered good/fair. THey really like to see the embryos between 6-8 cells on day 3.
