We are going to save up because we need to get a new toilet for the main bathroom and I want to get new carpet for the kid’s playroom. Of course, I could look into getting a cash advance or even going with the three year no-interest gig.
I just like keeping it real though and I hate having to make monthly payments or having any debt.
SO….it looks like my one and only option is just to save.
I think we’re in the clear now. Graem has been without a fever for 24 hours and her belly is doing MUCH better. Today was a total hang out day and had the school not had the 24 hour rule she would have gone back.
At least we were able to clean the house and do some laundry. I also finished my book “Little Bee”. It was good…but I was really disappointed in the ending. I expected it to be so much better!
Graem has been quite the reader too! She finished her Ivy and Bean book today and got half way through “How to train a dragon”.
Damn, that girl is smart!
When I was in high school I had really bad acne. I looked into acne treatments that really work and really couldn’t find any good remedies. So I decided to go to the doctor when I was in my early 20’s.
I was prescribed a medication and used it for a few weeks. It dried out my face and so I stopped using it. I figure at this point an occassional pimple is okay!
Graem is sick. I’m talking seriously sick. Pooping and barfing everywhere. She woke up at about 1am and said her belly hurt. Then it started.
Emmy’s been out of sorts and has boogers. I think she’s fighting a cold.
I’m trying to finish up painting in the entry way but that’s not happening! Maybe I’ll try again this weekend!
We haven’t played the Wii in close to a year. At one point we were playing it every night and trying to conquer all of the Mario games. Then the kids got in the way and interrupted our gametime and we gave up!
Maybe for Christmas we get a PS3. I’ve heard jeux ps3 have amazing graphics and I remember getting hooked on the PS2 Dynasty Warrior games.
This could be dangerous. At some point after the holidays we will have to go back to work.
