best way to lose weight since I lost about 75 pounds 3 years ago. I know it’s really not rocket science. Eat less and move more, right?
These days I feel like I move around plenty chasing two kids and then working. BUT….I love food. I love sweets.
THey get me every time. In the near future I’m going to go on a diet. But first, I must go on vacation.
And so so so much to do.
We leave in a 36 hours or so and I have TONS to do. At least I was able to run errands today. Of course, tomorrow is washing clothes, packing, and cleaning the house.
I am constantly reminded how hard it is to go on vacation!
So I did the not-so-smart thing when I was looking for a computer. I went to the local store and bought a non-Dell brand. Stupid. I know. I wanted a cheap and easy fix.
Little did I know, that the computer would burn a hole in my leg when I use it on my lap and later I find out that they’ve all been recalled for burning a hole in people’s leg. Darn.
I should have just looked at the Savings.com Dell coupons and gone with a Dell. We’ve had very good luck with Dell’s and aside from kids ruining keyboards and pouring bottles of water on them - they last forever!
We’ve talked about getting a desktop for Christmas and that might still be on the list. Savings.com website offers some great deals and coupons. In fact, it’s a one-stop-shop for those of us who look for coupons with every online purchase!
Just a few weeks ago I purchased a pair of shoes online and within two minutes I was able to search online and get a nice 20% off coupon. Of course, that savings allowed me to buy a pair of jeans. And the cycle goes on!
These days I don’t ever have to leave my rocking chair because I can find a great deal online - thanks to great websites like savings.com!
Right now I’m at home with two sick kids. A few minutes ago it was dark gray outside and I thought it was going to rain all day long. Now it’s sunny and beautiful outside.
Margot’s coming home at 2pm so that I can go to a work appointment. Then I’m off to get my hair and eyebrows done. Heck, I’m going to be a new woman!
Then I’ve got to do more work.
The other day I was at a friend’s house and he told me about how they had used a certain radiant floor heating and it caused damage to the house and the whole renovation that they did had to be ripped up and redone.
Fortunate for him he was able to join a class action lawsuit and get money for damages.
I think many times things happen that are unfortunate and people ignore or don’t hold companies responsible for their actions and incompetence. I read up on the Accutane Lawsuit and there are so many individuals who have been directly influenced by this medication.
In fact, when I was in high school I had a dear friend who was on this medication and within just a few months (over the summer) I got a call that he was in the hospital with liver cancer.
He was 16 and died.
It was life changing and I’ll never forget seeing him in the hospital hooked up to tubes and dark orange in color.
I certainly hope that others have learned from this situation and that the pharmaceutical companies have been held responsible.
