NEIGHBOR KIDS??
Friday after we had moved in and when our friends came over we heard kids playing in the backyard behind us. Graem and her friends went over and they played for hours on their swingset and sandbox!
Then the kids came over to our house and played in the playroom.
The older boy is 9 and a real sweet kid. He has good manners and is a bit awkward. He has a younger sister who tags along too. Although she is Graem’s age - Graem prefers to play with the older boy. They also have a little brother who is one.
Today we came home to find the kids ringing the doorbell to see if Graem could come out and play AND they had muffins! Really nice, right?
I was raised in a neighborhood and I’m so glad that our kids will get to experience having friends living so close!

I’m not talking about my mind either.
I’m talking about my hair! It seems like ever since I stopped my prenatal vitamins that I’ve been losing my hair and it’s thinning again.
I’ve thought about looking at hair loss for men options, however, since I’m still nursing Emmy I’m not sure that would work. Plus, we are really trying to stay natural and organic these days.
Maybe I should just go back on prenatal meds - minus the baby!

Once again, peeps….I’m lovin’ Crystal. She’s amazing. AND YES, she’s going to win this damn thing. Unless something goes horribly wrong.
Paige should be going home this week.
She’s horrible and you can only have a sore throat and bad songs so many weeks in a row?!

Friday is the big day.
I’m going to talk to the business manager at the local real estate agency about starting up and working there as a salesperson. I’m pretty excited about the position and I think the combination of sales and marketing should make it a pretty good job for me.
Plus, I’ve been able to really connect with the mommy-types around town and we all know those are the ones making the household decisions when choosing a real estate agent!
The other day I was reading the National News Today and came across an article about, America’s greatest sales executive , Chet Holmes. He most recently wrote a new book titled “The Ultimate Sales Machine”.

The idea of the book is simple - communication. He believes that by meeting with employees one hour every week you are able to identify any upcoming issues or problems and address them head on.
After doing this for one year he believes that your organization will be successful!
Since I’m looking for a way to double sales you bet this is going to be one of the first books I read!
Friday when I go for my interview I’m going to seek out the expert advice and I’ll report back my findings!

NO.
I’m exhausted. My neck is killing me and I just want to curl up in a ball and/or get a massage. Today I went to the chiropractor and it was pure love. I don’t know how the lady does it but…she has hands of magic.
I have painted the ceiling, and done the first coat on the baseboards and hearth, windows and bookcases. I have to do one more coat and then it’s on to the fun part - the walls!! I’ve chosen a light yellow color for the living room and hallways.
The exact same color as I had in our old living room at Swamp College.
The living room now is a brown with brown moldings. UGH. Nothing says doom and gloom like BROWN.
On to better and brighter rooms!
