Seriously.
I just turned 33 and I’m feeling OLD. I go in Tuesday to get my gall bladder out and hopefully that will be my last surgery forever!
The other day I looked in the mirror and realized that I had some wrinkles. It might pay off to look for some of the best under eye cream on the market!
I might be getting older but I’m not going down without a fight!

Friday we did the inspection for the new house and it passed! Not with flying colors of course…
The water heater, roof, siding, windows, insulation, kitchen, bathroom, and furnace all need to be updated or replaced.
Damn, that’s a lot.
The point being though - the house has good “bones” as they call in the industry! It’s solid and it’s within our price range!
Our hope is that we put our gay touch on it with paint color, style, and update the house slowly. Then we flip that shit and double our money.
Then we’ve already decided we’re going for the McMansion!

what’s up?!?
So…our house sold! Four days on the market and full asking price with a $2,500 concession PLUS I get to keep my 52″ television.
This is good news, folks!
However…
We have no place to go. We keep dealing with this one seller who appears to be too important and can’t sign the contract in time! We’re giving it one more shot today and if we don’t get it… then we figure it just wasn’t meant to be!
Now I’m looking at cool appliances, modern sofas, and paint colors!
This could be very dangerous…

So Emmy has started therapy.
It’s exhausting. She sees three different therapists. An occupational therapist, speech therapist, and a social worker. TWICE A WEEK.
That’s six appointments that lost approx. 1 hour a piece.
Then there’s Graem’s soccer and gymnastics.
OH YEAH…did I mention we’re in the middle of selling our house and buying a new one?
AND…
I’m going into gall bladder surgery 1/26?
I need to clean my plate.

I’m going to be 33 in a few days and there’s a part of me that would love to go back to school. I’ve looked at an online degree and it might be the perfect solution.
Western Governers University offers great programs in areas and also an online business degree!
When I graduated from college (almost 10 years ago!) they really hadn’t perfected online education. However from the friends that I’ve talked with who are enrolled - it’s really an amazing experience.
Online programs allow people to specialize in their area of interest - at their own pace. Plus, if you’re a working person or unable to attend a traditional setting - then the online aspect really accomodates.
