PMS?

So here’s some irony for you….

I’m on the birth control pill.

Laugh.

Laugh hard.

I’m an infertile lesbian who is using contraceptive!

When I finally started getting my period it was HELL. It was long, I had horrible cramps, and I was absolutely miserable. Not to mention the fact, that I could hardly leave the house without bleeding through my clothing.

So the midwives put me on Yaz.

I’ve been on it for a few months and it’s been great. I feel like it’s regulated my body in a way that nature couldn’t! The periods are almost nothing and just last a few days.

Of course, I still miss the prenatal vitamins that come with pregnancy! My nails and hair grew so fast!

Poor second kid!

So I must say that I’ve been terrible at documenting Emmy’s life! I got to about 4 months in her baby book. Every single entry talked about how she never sleeps, how exhausted we are, and how much she cries!

We’ve also been pretty lax about taking photos. Maybe that’s just what happens with the second child. But I do feel guilty and I am going to try and do a better job at writing down her accomplishments and taking photos!

A little diet goes a long way!

Over the past few months I’ve been able to drop about 25 pounds! It all started when we were in California. I was having horrible belly aches. I had nausea and throwing up. Had I not known better I would have thought I was pregnant.

Of course, it was just the good ole’ gall bladder begging to be taken out.

I’ve been on fat burner medication before and lost quite a bit of weight but nothing’s been faster or more natural than the gall bladder diet!

Preparing.

I’m preparing for my surgery by taping loser movies, saving up The Bachelor, V, and Tabatha’s Salon Takeover.

If worse comes to worse I’ll watch Judge Judy, Divorce Court, and The Baby Show.

I’ve also stocked up on my favorite magazines “In Touch” and “People”.

I must admit…..I’m looking forward to my days on the couch and my vacation from being a mom!

The best diet…

I’ve ever been on is that gall bladder diet.

You eat spicy, high fat foods and you get sick!

So that means that I’ve been skipping meals, eating fruits and vegetables and losing weight!

When I get my gall bladder out Tuesday I hope that the weight loss continues. However, I’ve also looked at options like quick trim.

I figure weight loss drugs have helped before and I’m sure they’d be able to help me get over the hump!
