A few months ago we had a local company come into our house and do some major work.
First on the list was to put in a new bathroom fan and light. We were hoping to reduce the mold and condensation on the window and also the leaking that we got when it rained!
Now we have a great fan but we’re not too impressed with the bathroom lighting.
It’s an energy saving devise and to say the least when I’m in the bathroom I feel like I’m a light shade of blue.
Margot left today and is spending the night in Niagara Falls on a business trip.
Really, I shouldn’t complain because she hardly ever travels out of town and most of the time she’s at home by 5:30pm and does so much on the weekend with the kids.
BUT…
I miss her.
When she’s gone I sleep horrible and even though we told Graem she can sleep upstairs in our bed I just don’t feel secure or together.
Margot’s going away present when I woke up this morning was a pound of bacon and a rice cooker full of rice.
Nothing says love like bacon, right?
Remember the last post how I promised to post pictures and update the website often?
I’m a liar.
I admit.
You see … I have a pretty good excuse. A few months ago our external hard drive that stored all of our pictures - died.
So we sent it to this guy to try to retrieve all of our photos. The guy has yet to return my calls or emails and he still have our hard drive. To make matters worse…. His kids go to school with Graem!
I don’t know if he’s ignoring us on purpose, he lost our hard drive, or maybe he’s just busy…. but we’re talking MONTHS here.
So now we have the dilemma of where to put our photos and very honestly, the frustration of it all has caused me to take less photos because I don’t want to lose them too.
I know this isn’t the answer because in the end I’m going to have a very pissed off second child who has NO baby pictures! While Graem’s is neatly organized and catagorized by movement!
We’re going to try and work on a better solution and in the meantime I think I’m just going to take pictures and keep them on cards.
The ongoing antics of two thirty-something *gasp* mamas raising a four-year-old daughter and an eight month old daughter.
