So a few days ago I wrote this sappy post about how Emm decided to give u nursing and I was extremely sad, right?
Well, low and behold….Thursday morning she latched on, nursed like a pro, and the rest is history. She’s a nurser again.
She’s not nursing a ton and typically only one to three times a day.
But it’s enough…
It feels nice to have my baby back. Even if it is only for a few more days or weeks.

Lately, my body has been feeling it’s age.
I walk like I’m ninety years old because my feet and back hurt. Then there’s the whole aching body thing that goes long with reaching THIRTY.
What happened to the spring chicken that I once was?
At this point I think I should just buy best eye cream and wrinkle cream and try to preserve my skin.
I’ve all but given up on the rest of my body.

Let’s just say that the AC people who came out and tried to charge me the trip charge - got screwed!
I appealed with my credit card company the $86.39 they overcharged.
Sure enough, the charge got overturned and I got my money credited back.
Take that, bitches.
I wish I could see their faces when they saw that credit on their account!

So I sit here tonight crying.
Emmy has been biting when nursing for the past few nights. Prior she would add the occassional nip here and there and I’d yelp out in pain.
Recently, she’s started biting right as she goes on to the breast. It’s a killer. Typically, I’ll take her off and place her away.
This has been going for two days or so. She hasn’t had a nurse in two days.
I’m heart broken. I never thought that it would end like this. I always figured I’d have that “last nurse” and it’d be when both of us are ready.
Tonight she was crying after Margot tried to put her to bed. I went in there, held her, rocked her, and tried one last time to nurse her.
I also put my finger inbetween her lips and my nipple to avoid another bite. She did try to lightly bite and then started whimpering. It was almost like she didn’t want to hurt me.
Then she stopped and said “down” gesturing for me to move my shirt down.
It’s so sad to know she’s growing up and I might never ever nurse again.
