I never realized…
when walking into a local business how much effort they put into operating on a daily basis. First off there’s the location and staffing it with responsible people. Then there’s the salaries, worker’s compensation, and business insurance.
Then, of course, the most important - the product. Making sure that you have enough product to offer selection but not so much that you have money tied up in stock.
It’s no wonder why our local “commons” is vacant with empty buildings and has become quite the ghost town.
The teeth have landed!
Emmy’s first two teeth are starting to come up! Surprisingly, she hasn’t been miserable. Over the past 7 1/2 months each time she is a turd we blame it on her teething. Now she’s teething and she’s been a pretty good baby!
On other fronts, Graem is sick. Again. She complained this morning of a sore throat but didn’t have a fever and said she wanted to go to school. Then tonight she started complaining again. Margot looked in her throat and saw white dots. Then she feel asleep on the couch and ended up having a fever.
Poor kid. I swear every week at least one of us is sick.
Is spring ever going to get here?!
