When Margot’s dad was first diagnosed with cancer I made sure to read up on all of the information I could get my hands on when it came to colon and prostate cancer.
Unfortunately, it was hard to gather because much of the information was from blogs or message boards.
There’s now a new mesothelioma website that is helpful and provides good information for families and people battling cancer.

So lately my stomach has been an absolute and complete mess!
We’ve been in the midst of negotiations for a new house and we’re dealing with a real bitch of an attorney. She never returns calls and most recently we put in an offer to be answered by 9:30am. By 3:30pm she was just getting back to our real estate agent.
At this point I think it might be less stressful to sell our house, move into temporary housing, and then look for a bigger and better house in the spring. Of course, that’d be putting all of our eggs in one basket because for all we know…there’s nothing better.
We really do love our existing house with the exception of it only having one bathroom AND it’s in the country and we feel somewhat isolated.
What to do?
In the meantime, all of this stress could be helpful with my new diet!

I’ve got to start getting insurance quotes.
With Margot’s father passing we’ve realized that we should really look into getting more life insurance. We have decent policies but we really want to make sure that our kids have the money they will need to go to college - if anything were to happen to one of us.
This whole experience has also made us realize that we need to make some changes to our will and write down all account numbers so that they’re easy to figure out.

Well, we’ve done it.
We just listed our house with a real estate agent.
We have our eye on another house in another neighborhood (in town) and in order to “make it happen” we’ve decided to put our house on the market and see what hits we get.
Today we busted our asses to get the house in perfect condition - to say the least it’s BEAUTIFUL!
Our real estate agent came out to take photos and it will be officially posted up tomorrow and we’ll be at prospective buyers beck and call.
From word of mouth a couple and their kids came out today to look at the house. The real estate agent said that our house showed beautifully.
Yikes. Things are going to move fast!

We’re expected to have tons of snow tomorrow morning and I’m wondering if it’s going to be a snow day for Grammy!
I keep looking outside and it’s so pretty!
Now I don’t want to leave my warm couch and go upstairs to my freezing cold bed.
Maybe I should ask Santa for an electric blanket.
