I’m talking about our electrical equipment! At one point we had a great television - HD Television, 32 inch, and all the extras. Now we’re realizing that we have a dinosaur. Our once loved television is starting to get some fading on the screen and the edges have traces of green.
I really have my sights one of of the flat panel Sony televisions. Of course we’d probably need to look into getting a lcd mount too.
We just got the quote to have a new deck installed off of our kitchen. We were thinking that the quote would come in at around $3,500 or so. We figured we’d get the nice french doors and that would tack on another $1,500 and bring the grand total to around $5,000.
We open the quote and are SHOCKED to see that they have priced it out at $10,500!! That’s not even including the french door.
For that price we could have a bathroom installed upstairs with a whirlpool tub and twin sinks! Not to mention we could probably look into getting some new kitchen faucets too!

I’ve decided that this time I’m going to do the “eating better” and breastfeeding diet!

It seems like more and more people are getting cancer these days. Maybe it’s just the fact that we’re getting older or maybe it’s just the fact that environment, genetics, or the way we are treating our bodies are catching up to us.
I read the other day about mesothelioma and was shocked to see some of the studies in the news about cancer caused by asbestos. For years we knew asbestos was bad…but noone realized it was this harmful.
