We received two awesome gifts today and both of them don’t have names attached to them!
One is Knuffle Bunny by Mo Williems.
The other is this awesome banner that you put in the baby’s room above the crib.
Whoever sent these gifts - please speak up! We love them both but want to thank you personally!!

I’m not sure we’re going to get around to much traveling with the baby on the way. We have talked about doing some traveling after he/she makes their appearance.
We’ve talked about going to Cape Cod, Phillippines, and to Rohobath Beach to visit friends.
However, I just came across a great website that helps with scheduling a flight to Australia!
Of course, the hardest part for us traveling as a family is the logisitics. Traveling with a newborn probably won’t be the easiest task and we’re going to need all of the help we can get!
DialAFlight.com makes scheduling flights a piece of cake! Who doesn’t need that type of help?

The social worker just came out a few minutes ago and finished doing the homestudy needed for me to adopt Graem. It’s so bizarre that we have to get so much in place in order for the adoption to occur.
I’m constantly shocked that straight people can pop out kids every 9 months and not have to go through any of this bullshit.
Okay - rant over.

I’m happy to report that I’ve found a place (Moe’s Southwest Grill) that offers FREE wi-fi in a convenient place in Ithaca! Of course, I had to buy a big ass burrito and medium tea in order to park here but it really wasn’t too bad. And the food was much better this time than when we came for the grand opening.
The location is nice because the booths are roomy, they have plugs, and I can have all of the soda, tea, coffee, and salsa I can eat and drink!
Plus, I’m about 20 steps away from the bathroom. This might be better than my mall office (Border’s Cafe).

Yesterday, we ran a few errands and hung out at home. Graem complained a little bit about her boo-boo. We went to eat at King Buffet with L&J. The kids played and the adults ate and had some good conversation.
When we got home last night we started up on Project: Cupcake. I had this idea that I’d make Pablo (from the Backyardigans) cupcakes. I made the cake yellow and made blue icing. Then I had white and black gel icing that I used for the eyes and yellow icing that I used for the mouth.
Of course, I applied the icing too quickly for a few of the cupcakes and it ended up melting and caused Pablo to look like a crazy alien. Hopefully, those will be for the staff and adults! Margot kept giving me a hard time and saying that the cupcakes would scare the kids!
We also worked on Graem’s goody bags for her birthday party at school. Of course, she had to have Backyardigans and I was able to pick up some goodies at Wegmans to put in the bags.
This morning Graem woke up and was pretty excited about her party today. She couldn’t wait to show and tell people “I’m not bleeding anymore and the doctor fixed my boo-boo”.
When we arrived at daycare all of her friends ran up to her and gave her a big hug. Of course, they were all pretty obsessed with the Backyardigans bandaid on her face too.
Do you notice a theme of this post?? (Backyardigans?)
