Baby’s got front and back!

Comments are back!

We were wondering if all of our friends and followers had dropped off of the planet or maybe they thought that our adorable baby was ugly.

Then we realized that we had our comments turned off. We updated WordPress and the default is not to have comments.

So, we’ll keep the comments off for paid posts because we typically just get spam comments and turn on the comments for real and personal posts!

Just in case you’d like to comment on our adorable baby…I’ll post his/her picture again! *hint*hint*

She’s getting older…

Today I got my car washed for the first time in about a year. It was a MESS. To say the leaset it took me over an hour to clean the car out completely and then to do the armor all and glass cleaning. I noticed after cleaning that I might want to look into dent repair.

I have a few dents on the side where the doors are and one in the very back where the trunk is. At this point the car is eight years old and I feel that I need to give it a little extra TLC if I want it to last a long time!

An early Christmas present…

So, I’ve turned into quite the reviewer lately and I must say that reviewing has it’s privledges!

Most recently, we arrived home to find three big boxes! I had no idea what they were and then I remembered that I had offered my services to review some educational toys. What a better candidate to check out some toys than our dear almost three year old daughter, Grammy!

We were actually sent this awesome Gears!Gears!Gears! set and I must say that between Margot and Graem they have spent endless hours on the floor building some pretty cool mechanisms! The gears seem pretty sturdy and they are battery powered to actually move. They glow in the dark and there are even pieces that flash too! This was a great gift and although the packaging says 5-10 years of age. Graem loved it! (So did 31 year old Margot!)

We were so happy to get more toys from Learning Resources and Graem absolutely loves the Smart Splash Color Play Penguins!

In fact, every night when she gets into the tub she begs us for her penguin and we have to literally drag her kicking and screaming out of the tub after 30 minutes because the water is freezing cold! The penguins have shapes and colors and she loves rearranging them!

The last goody that we received that was a huge hit was some puzzles called Smart Snacks - Animal Crack ups. You put the two pieces of the animals together. Not only can you match shapes, but also the colors of the animals are located on the back. Graem spent a lot of time getting all of the matches together and didn’t want to stop! We’ve since played this a few times and she’s equally enjoyed it!

I’d like to thank LearningResources.com for all of the great goodies and also let others out there know that if you’re looking for Christmas or Holiday gifts for the youngsters — check this place out! They have some great educational and fun toys for your kiddo!

What a mess.

Lately, Margot’s been complaining about our storage issue! The basement is a total mess and at some point we’re going to have to go through the baby stuff and start bringing stuff up and also putting some of Grammy’s toddler toys in the basement!

I might look into getting some tool storage for Margot. All of her tools are in total disarray throughout the basement and you can never find a screwdriver or a hammer when you’re looking for one.

Merry Christmas, honey!
