We’re going to be leaving in the next week to go to San Francisco and although I’m really excited I can’t imagine it’s going to be much of a getaway for Margot since she’ll be in a conference the whole time we’re there.
Typically, we’ve done beach vacation and foreign vacations and had a great time. However, I really want to go somewhere that offers the best for Grammy and for us too!

Raleigh, North Carolina is like a hidden treasure! It has something for everyone and it’s absolutely beautiful for a fall getaway. We actually went there a few years ago for a family reunion and I was surprised all of the good food and people we found there! Not to mention, there are some great furniture stores and outlet malls!
Next time we get out to Raleigh I really want to catch Carolina Ballet’s Carmina Burana! I’ve never been one for ballet but I’ve heard that this production is really great.
