Okay, I was going to go in this morning to have bloodwork but I just woke up and it so happens that the lab at the hospital was open and they had a standing blood order with my name on it.
Plus, I wanted to make sure that everything was good! Today’s number was 238!!
Here are my stats:
10dp3dt - 21
11dp3dt - 38
13dp3dt - 97
15dp3dt - 238 (this was taken at 45 hours and not 48!)
So, they were looking for the number to double and it doubled and then some. Not to mention I even went at 45 hours instead of 48. Had I waited til 48 hours the number would have actually been higher!
Monday I’ll go back for the last beta before the ultrasound Wednesday! I’m guessing I’ll be around 500 or so!

To this webpage, I mean. I get on MyBlogLog every now and then to stalk our stalkers. Yesterday’s searches (some of which are disturbing):
- two year old crying for an hour and a half (we have one of those)
- evaporation lines (sure, we’ll talk about these)
- pictures of old horrible houses (we have one of these, though not technically ‘old’)
- january 2006 stale (we probably have some of this…but we haven’t found it yet!)
- enchilada clip art (interesting…)
And most disturbing of all:
- po_op hole pics (I hope to god we don’t have any of these!)
I hope our pagerank goes up in any case… and that all of you out there searching for something find it. Except for the last one. That’s just gross.

From the NY Times:
The White House pulled out all stops today to reinforce the message that, as Mr. Bush put it, the United States will be “good stewards of the environment” while also meeting ever-increasing energy needs. A White House “fact sheet” declared, for instance, that the United States has invested more than $2.5 billion in clean-coal technology since 2001, and that the administration is committed to helping to build more nuclear power plants without compromising safety.
With latest increase request, the 2008 spending on war is going to reach $190 billion. For one year. And we’re supposed to be proud of having spent $2.5 billion on clean-coal technology in the last six years?

We’re going to be leaving in the next week to go to San Francisco and although I’m really excited I can’t imagine it’s going to be much of a getaway for Margot since she’ll be in a conference the whole time we’re there.
Typically, we’ve done beach vacation and foreign vacations and had a great time. However, I really want to go somewhere that offers the best for Grammy and for us too!
I just found out about the Free Raleigh Getaway that’s being offered where you could win the following:
-One night accommodations for two at the Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley
-$25 gift certificate to Bloomsbury Bistro
-Free VIP admission for two to Rum Runners
-2 tickets to the North Carolina Theatre
-2 tickets to the N.C. Museum of Art’s Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism
-2 tickets to Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences
Raleigh, North Carolina is like a hidden treasure! It has something for everyone and it’s absolutely beautiful for a fall getaway. We actually went there a few years ago for a family reunion and I was surprised all of the good food and people we found there! Not to mention, there are some great furniture stores and outlet malls!
Next time we get out to Raleigh I really want to catch Carolina Ballet’s Carmina Burana! I’ve never been one for ballet but I’ve heard that this production is really great.

Tonight we decided to go to The Commons and enjoy some apples and delcious food at the Apple Harvest Festival. We hooked up with Taste of Thai and got a mixture of food. Then what festival would be complete without eating a little Indian food.
Grammy had some of the Aloo Palik and we got her a candied apple. She didn’t quite know what to do with it and so I had to start it out for her.
We also picked up $35.00 worth of Nalgenes (water bottles) for the whole family.
Back to the festival tomorrow!
