WTF?!? IOWA???

I can’t believe that Iowa ruled in favor of gay marriage:

What the heck is taking New York so long?  Do we need to be in the Midwest?  Or more formally part of conservative New England??  I just don’t understand.

Bad Saul.

You’ve got to love the media.   They love to make a pretty boring and irrelavent story into a juicy story.   When we were part of the Ithaca Gay Marriage Lawsuit we were interviewed by “The New York Times” and of course they took half of the conversation out of context.

It’s all about interpretation and it seems like once again they’ve got it wrong again.

Just check out this: Armand Rousso response to NYT story by Saul Hansell

It looks like Saul Hansell wrote a juicy story that wasn’t entirely on target.   What I think needs to happen here is that writers need to be accountable for their work and the only way for that to happen is for a formal apology to take place in a reputable forum.

It sounds like Rousso has made some mistakes but he’s on the straight and narrow and actually trying to become a better person through it all.

Banquet dinners.

Tonight I decided to open up a box for our dinner.   I had purchased a Banquet - biscuit, chicken, and mashed potato dinner a few weeks ago and it’s been sitting on our counter.

It was relatively easy to put together and I popped it into the oven for 30 minutes.

The damn thing was so salty we could barely eat it.

Of course, after the meal I had to call banquet and those bastards and sending me a coupon for the exact same thing.

Gee, thanks.

Just what I wanted.   Heartattack in a box.

We’re heading out west again!

Well, we’ve already had our airline tickets to San Francisco but I just reserved our hotel at the Courtyard Marriott.   I can’t believe that they get close to $300 a night for a hotel room!    Highway robbery.

I remember when we were in Las Vegas last year and seeing great deals at the Paris Las Vegas.   Not only was it a great hotel in the middle of the strip but they have a great casino and there’s tons to do for the whole family.

It’s almost that time of year again…

I’m talking about Christmas time!

I’ve done a pretty good job at shopping year round for the kids that we buy gifts for.    Now it’s just the adults in our lives that I have to start looking for!    I’m always looking for christmas gift ideas.    It seems like you can only buy so many giftcards!

I figure we can keep the same deal with Margot’s brother as we had last year.   He buys us a Wii game and we get him a video game.
