The weather outside is a good ole’ Ithaca gray. It’s not raining yet, however, I expect it to shower throughout the afternoon.
We have a softball game scheduled for this evening but I doubt that will happen.
I was able to sign up for my gym membership yesterday and so now I don’t have any excuses for not working out! I was going to go in today but figured since Graem was going to be at school tomorrow I could just work out on Wednesdays and Fridays then come home and do work.
Of course, there’s no sign of my period and even though my doctor’s office is trying to work with me and when I called yesterday they said to call back today. I’m on CD 35 and no sign of a period.

How much I love my new washing machine?
We decided to go with the top of the line Whirlpool washing machine. Maytag has one that is the exact same thing but we were able to get the best deal at Lowes.
When I wish we would have seen all of the ratings for Maytag Washing Machines! We looked in consumer reports and that only had old models and models that weren’t in the local stores.
Krillion.com offers a great services to customers everywhere! You can research and see reviews for your favorite appliances. This is perfect considering that when we tried to do this with Consumer Reports online they wanted to charge us an arm and a leg!

We just went to the Syracuse zoo Saturday and Graem had a great time. The animals weren’t the plentiful and both Shawna and me were used to much bigger and better zoos.
There’s been talk lately about our next vacation and we have been leaning towards a sun and beach vacation…but I think there’s another type of vacation that Grammy might really like — an Africa hunting safari!
Of course, we aren’t into really hunting and killing so we’d probably be more of the laid back voyeur types. But Graem would absolutely *love* seeing all of the safari animals!
The T.Jeffrey Safari Company offers an amazing hunting safari experience for the whole family. In fact, right now you can get a number of trophy animals in 10 days for less than $10,000!

My cheap wife has yet to take me to the local pool because it’s “too expensive”. Yes, it would cost us about $13 to swim as a family…but that’s a lot less than getting the summer family pass!
So last night I cleaned out Grammy’s yellow swimming pool in the backyard. It had every species of bug in it and hadn’t been cleaned out since we bought it. We also hadn’t bothered putting a cover on it!
After Grammy was finished swimming I got her one of the big leaves from our plants in the back yard. I then turned on the sprinkler and let her run through it. I wish I had the camera because as she ran through it with the big leaf over her head she kept saying “Look Mommy, I have an umbrella!”
Of course, she did all of this while nude! I figure she’s still at the age where it’s acceptable and she needs to take advantage of that!
