I think we’re finally getting somewhere with potty training and Graem making poop in the potty!   After the last poop Tuesday I told her that I wasn’t going to change any more poopy diapers.   She agreed that was a good idea and we’ve been talking about her making poop in the potty.

Yesterday she said she had to poop and asked for a diaper.   I refused to give her one and told her that she needed to go to the potty.   She got upset but finally sat on the potty for a few minutes.   I also explained to her how she could look down and see the poop come out of her butt.

She was pretty intrigued by that idea.

After about thirty minutes in the bathroom and that not going anywhere she went down for a nap.

After the softball game last night she said she had to potty and asked us for a diaper.   We once again refused and told her she had to sit on the potty.    After sitting on the potty for a few minutes — she pooped!

We were so proud of her that we did a dance in the bathroom and then we let her watch the “Aladdin” DVD that we had rented from the video store.
