A Tale of Two Mamas

Trying to keep someone IN timeout

Renovations, here we come!

Our house is way too small.   When it was just the two of us it was small.   Now that little Grammy has over 1,000 toys lining up the walls, we’re feeling like we’re busting out at the seams.

We’ve looked into buying a new house but we really couldn’t get into anything half as nice for under $200,000.   Plus, it’s nice having an affordable mortgage and to know that we’ll be done paying for our house in another 12 years!

We should probably just look into a construction and remodeling loans.    The Construction Loan Center offers just about everything you’ll want to know about the financial piece of doing construction or remodeling of your house.

This might be the best option for us.   We love the area, the school district, and even the neighbors are pretty nice.   Plus, this is our home and we’d hate to have to leave it.

We have a lot of memories here already and many, many more to be had.

Cancun, Mexico

So, we must be the only Americans in Cancun that forgot their Spanish/English dictionary at home! I’ll blame it on Graem. She was the one that took it out of the “to pack” pile.

I barely knew a word of Spanish and I shortly learned the two most important words at our resort “el Bano” and “cerveza”.

Next time we go to Mexico I plan on going through some Spanish language training. We’ve talked about going deeper into Mexico next time or even into South America. So speaking Spanish would really come in handy then.

Executive Language Training offers a language school that helps people learn foreign language for business travel. The classes are designed to your business needs, learning style, and professional goals.

Have we mentioned…

How much we absolutely hate Wells Fargo?    Right now Margot is holding for an “Account Closing Specialist”.   It seems like she’s been holding for hours because so many people are probably trying to closing their accounts!

We have to close the line of credit account that we opened years ago and paid off in order to get the new equity loan that we’re applying for.

Too bad our local bank can’t offer a good rate on a mortgage or else we’d move over in a heartbeat!

Our infertility fund!

Lately we’ve been thinking of ways to make money for the infertility fund.   What better way to do that than to peddle ourselves to friends, family, and various other strangers.

One thing that we’ve looked into is into opening up an ecommerce merchant account.   That way we would be able to accept checks and credit cards!   We can even sell gift cards in case you would like to buy a loved one a donation to our infertility fund.

The great thing about the Merchant Consulting Group is that they offer very low and competitive rates.

If you’re looking for a birthday gift, holiday gift, or even the perfect father’s day gift — get your loved one a donation to our infertility fund!

POOP IN THE POTTY!

We got the report today that Graem made poop in the potty at school!   This is huge news and only news that we would share with those of you that follow our every movement!   Including bowel movements of course!

This is one of the first times she’s ever pooped at school and so we were shocked to hear that it was done in a school potty.

The teacher even said it was a “two flusher”.

We are quite proud.

Hip Hip Poo Ray!
