Trying to keep someone IN timeout

HOLD ON TIGHT!

When we last went to New York City to visit Uncle Den Den and Grandpa Grammy had just started going to the potty.   Margot was taking her and all of a sudden she fell off and hit her face on the side of the shower.

Now, everytime Graem gets on the toilet we say “Hold on tight!”

This morning when I was going to the bathroom and she came with me she said “Hold on tight, Mama.”

Of course, I couldn’t stop laughing.   How funny!

Grammy and Sesame Street!

Graem is watching Elmo’s World and Sesame Street on TV right now.   It’s so funny because as many of you know…they focus on one number for the entire show.

Today it’s “six”.

Graem keeps getting so frustrated when they count and don’t go above 6!   I had to explain to her that she’s much smarter than the television and this show and maybe tomorrow they’ll be smart enough to count up to eleven.  (The highest number she knows!)

Check this out!

We have art throughout our house.   In fact, if I go to someone’s house and they don’t have art I always feel like the walls or naked and the room is cold and sterile to me.    Our art tastes range from contemporary to realistic.   We have original artwork and prints from a number of different artists.    Some of our best artwork are from online starving artists and we purchased their pieces through E-Bay!   The other art that we own is from local artists including Susan Titus and our very own, Lydia!

Russian Artist Victor Lysakov has a great flair for art and I really like some of his pieces.   His modern and expressionist paintings are very vibrant and have unique composition.   Each one of his images has a captivating story which accompanies each purchased print.    The prints are reasonably priced and would really look nice in any room of the house.   They are printed on high quality glossy paper and they look just like the real thing!

Check out the website — there are really some great pieces and you can purchase online or call to place an order.     I promise you there will be a few pieces that you will fall in love with!

Need a job?

Not just a regular job…but a breast job? What about a nose job?

Of course, our favorite Plastic Surgeon, Manuel F. Chiuten, MD (Margot’s dad) is our Plastic Surgeon on choice. But there’s another way to find out about Beverly Hills breast augmentation!

Los Angeles Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, California specializes in all types of plastic surgery. Their website is filled with information on the different types of Plastic Surgery out there. They also show before and after pictures of some of their clients. One thing I found to be helpful is that they offer information on “Most Frequently Asked Questions”.

Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery offers surgery in a boutique setting right on Rodeo Drive! It’s in the heart of Beverly Hills and after your done with your surgery you can walk out the door, get your hair done, and buy a new wardrobe to match your new look!

I can appreciate the fact that it’s not in an institutional setting and that you feel like you’re in a luxary salon. It takes the pressure out of having surgery. The more comfortable and confident you are during the procedure - the better it is going to turn out! Plus, you can wake up knowing that the best doctor’s have worked on your beauty

Effective marketing for a small business

When I started my business, Senior Solutions of Ithaca, LLC, I tried to find the most cost effective way to market my business.   I had collateral printed at the local office supplies store which included envelopes and letterhead.    Then I actually had the brochures printed at an online company.   All look very professional and ended up costing me around $600 total.

It was a good investment considering the first job that I had was able to pay for the cost of the printing.

One thing that I’ve looked into is doing a small business movie brochure.   See examples of movie brochures here.

Now there is an affordable way for small businesses like mine to afford to do a movie brochure!   This can be offered online to your clients through a website or even put on a dvd for your clients to watch on their computers.

Our infertility doctor has a great movie brochure that has illustrations, simulations, along with interviews and contact information.   He offers it on DVD in his office and it really compliments his overall marketing materials.   He also sends it to prospective clients so that they can get a feel for what a warm and compassionate doctor he is.   Something that is sometimes hard to express in a written brochure!

As a small business many times you don’t have a whole lot of money to invest in the beginning.    That’s why MarketingSmallBusiness.co.uk  is offering a special price of $490 for your movie brochure!
