We are planning on heading out to Tot Spot this morning but feeling extremely lazy and Graem won’t get off of my lap while watching Tom and Jerry.
After tot spot we need to head to Michael’s to pick up some knitting needles and then Tops to pick up some groceries.
Then with any luck at all — nap time!
Yesterday Graem fell asleep in the car and when I went to check on her every 15 minutes she had woken up after 30 minutes. Of course she didn’t go back down for another nap and was a little devil last night.

Waking up is so nice most mornings. Margot says “goodbye” to Grammy and me with a kiss and most of the time leaves gracefully.
This morning after Margot left Graem was so cuddley and we laid in bed for about 30 minutes. Then she gave me a kiss and sat up in bed! Then we continued to play some games and giggle in bed before going downstairs.
I never in all my years thought that I’d like waking up!

We’re terrible at it. Exercise consists of getting up and walking to the fridge or bathroom. We try to eat healthy–and having Graem inspires us–but last night was Hamburger Helper night. And Graem still eats dog food.
The one thing we do do for ourselves is take vitamins–I’m on just a regular ol’ multivitamin, Grammy gets her Poly-Vi-Flor (which she calls “mints”), and Shawna gets to take the coveted prenatal vites.
N101 Nutrition carries nutritional supplements, vitamins, weight loss supplements, sport drinks and more. They even have that weird psyllium that our dear friend takes every now and then as part of a cleansing regimen.
Last but not least: they carry aromatherapy products for pets.

It’s hard being back at work after nearly a week of guests and festivities and Grammy. I think she felt it too–Shawna said she cried for me a couple of times. Last night we played online with Uncle Den and finally got onto Skype–which we just found out our friend’s 7-year-old has been using for ages! Man do I feel old. We can’t wait to get the webcam and use it with Den. I start thinking about who else we can use it with, but unfortunately, none of our friends are technologically advanced! Maybe we’ll start chatting with our friend’s 7-year-old.
