So here it is, dress #2! It took me about 4-5 hours to do this one, spread over 3 days. I had a deadline for this one: Grammy’s first school photos were on Friday. Since it’s the same pattern as the first one, and I had gotten over my fears of messing up, I was able to breeze through this one quickly:

Wednesday AM, before Grammy woke up: Cut out 2 of the 4 pattern pieces.
Wednesday PM, after dinner, with Lew Lew distracting Graem: Cut out remaining pattern pieces, cut out interfacing, fused interfacing.
Thursday AM (5AM!!): Sewed all the pieces together.
Thursday PM: Did buttons with Grammy “helping” with the “bittons.”

Nice! With practice, you will be able to do collars and pleats like a pro. According to my mom, Auntie Dolores does the best and prettiest sewing job.
