I’ve been looking for a magnet-making kit for photos–we have a dearth of magnets on our fridge, mostly due to our philosophical aversion to purchasing cheesy tourist magnets. I like magnets for their pure functionality, but thought that it would be cool to have ones of all our friends so Grammy could look at and play with them.

Pixifun Photo Kits has magnet kits starting at $4.99–that includes the photo inlays, acrylic holders, CD and instructions.  Pixifun also has kits for CD labels, key rings, ID badges, and sticker albums.  I think Grammy would find the sticker albums fun also–she seems obsessed with stickers lately, and I think it would be funny to see her walking around with Lu Lu or Lydia’s face stuck to her forehead!  The sticker kit comes with 6 stickers, so at $4.99 a kit, that comes to about 8 cents a sticker.  Not too bad.  I think this could be an activity we could do with Graem–and you know we’re always looking for stuff to do with her to keep her out of trouble and to stop the incessant whining!  We could take photos of Bailey, Peanut and Murphy and turn them into stickers.
