We can’t seem to keep up with Graem’s vocabulary these days, she’s more and more eager to try to say new words.  Shawna took Grammy to the park the other day, where she learned the words “bug” and “pool.”  At dinner that night, she also said “goat,” and yesterday she said “duck,” “dog,” and the all-important “TV.”

We got Shawna and Grammy passes for the local pool, and met there after work on Wednesday.  She loved it!  They have a great toddler pool that has zero entries, and ranges from 12″ to 18″ deep.  Graem loves that she doesn’t need to be held to be in it, and there are lots of fun water bubblers/jets.  We do have to watch her closely, as she walks/wades faster and faster until she falls face-forward.  They have an adult pool as well, and Grammy instantly saw the water slide and wanted to go on it.  Unfortunately, she has to pass the deep-water test before she can go on it, and they don’t allow more than one person on the slide, so we couldn’t even take her with us.
